Families would ride the train from Portland to Astoria and then caught a ferry to cross the river. From there families would ride a short train ride to what is now the Depot Restaurant. The beach and the main strip with all the shops and attractions are a short 5 minute walk away. Our home offers 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Upstairs Master- Windows surround the room letting in lots of natural light and even a view of the beach off in the distance. Queen bed with soft sheets, plenty of pillows and down alternative bedding. You also have the use of your own master bathroom stocked with shampoo/conditioner, soap and a hair dryer. The second bedroom is on the main floor and has custom built bunk beds 3 twins and 1 queen sleeping a total of 5 people. Tons of deep drawers for storage and a window seat where you can sit and relax after a long day of exploring the town and beach. The kitchen although small is stocked with everything you need to whip together a delicious meal for you and your loved ones. A large selection of spices, oil, seasoning mixes,tea, utensils,knives, cutting boards, crock pot, steamer, food processor, toaster, microwave, Pots, pans, baking sheets,coffee pot, etc. Living room- a comfy couch with throw blankets to curl up with while you watch your favorite shows on our smart T.V with streaming device.
